The 5 Essentials of Natural Beauty for a Radiant Complexion

The 5 Essentials of Natural Beauty

Since this site exists, I have given you many recipes to make at home.

Simple recipes, but which sometimes require the use of a less common product.

I thought that many of you – especially those who are just starting out – would like to know what are the fundamentals and essentials for natural beauty!

You will see that it is not complicated, and that the same product can have several uses.

1. A virgin and quality vegetable oil

Virgin and quality vegetable oil

Since time immemorial, you must know that oils are not just confined to the kitchen… And you would be wrong to deprive yourself of them in cosmetics!

Because, thanks to a single vegetable oil, preferably virgin and organic, you can create all kinds of natural skin care:

For removing make-up

Vegetable oil, if neutral, can be used as a make-up remover.

To do this, massage your face with your fingertips. You will see all the makeup dissolve.

All you have to do is gently rub your face with a delicate, damp but wrung out textile glove or a washable wipe.

You will see that it is very gentle, even for sensitive skin or the eye area.

Whatever your skin type, I recommend apricot kernel oil because it has an excellent price/quality ratio and is rich in vitamins.

For serum

The oil can also become your anti-aging beauty serum.

A virgin oil is naturally rich in complex fatty acids and antioxidants.

It is therefore a nourishing treatment that hydrates by limiting water loss and protects against ageing.

Just massage 3 to 4 large drops initially heated in your hands, on your face and neck every evening.

Here again, apricot kernel oil can be a good choice for all skin types, so can argan, jojoba or muscat rose oil.

For your hair

Most virgin oils are also very good hair care products.

Before shampooing, you can coat your hands with argan oil, apricot kernel, avocado or macadamia oil and massage your hair with your palms.

You will also take the opportunity to massage and nourish your scalp.

Leave this treatment for at least one hour under a towel.

Then rinse and wash your hair with a shampoo.

Your hair is softer, stronger and easier to brush.

2- Cold processed soap

Cold processed soap

Cold-processed soap is the mildest of all soaps, as it is richer in natural glycerin than commercial soaps.

With a cold process bar of soap, you can replace your shower gel.

And at the same time, you avoid having to throw away a plastic bottle, and you use a waterless product that is much more environmentally friendly.

Cold process soap allows you to wash yourself completely, and there is something for everyone.

You can even wash your hair with it and replace shampoo, as long as it is a cold-porcessed soap enriched with “washing” clay, such as rhassoul for example.

3- Food baking soda

Food baking soda

This white powder that looks like chalk is not only used to make household products.

It is an essential ingredient in natural cosmetics.

Every morning, you can rub a little ultra-fine baking soda under your armpits. Then dust the superfluous small grains with a dry washcloth.

Result? A very effective deodorant and 100% natural without controversial ingredients for health. You can also apply it to your feet if you tend to sweat.

You can also, from time to time, add a tiny pinch of bicarbonate to your toothpaste for a guaranteed whiteness effect.

Baking soda is also used as an exfoliating powder.

Mix it in equal parts with vegetable oil, you will obtain an exfoliating paste to massage very gently on your body or face. This eliminates dead skin and your skin will be very soft.

4- A good Aloe Vera gel

Aloe Vera gel

This cosmetic gel is essential in a bathroom.

If you think immediately of sunburn and irritations that Aloe Vera soothes, its benefits do not stop there!

Aloe vera gel is indeed a very useful care base for the beauty of skin and hair….

In the morning, you can mix 3 large drops of Aloe Vera gel with 1 to 2 drops of vegetable oil in your hands.

Then massage the mixture onto your clean face. This action replaces a moisturizing and protective day cream very effectively.

After shampooing, you can massage a few drops of Aloe Vera gel on your wet hair. It is an outstanding detangler and a nourishing and moisturizing conditioner. You can rinse it or not, depending on the nature of your hair and the desired effect.

5- An essential oil of real organic lavender

Lavender essential oil

No need to acquire an aromatherapist’s kit to deal with the small evils of everyday life.

True lavender essential oil is a good Jack of all trades to do everything beautifully.

If a nasty pimple appears, you can apply a drop of this essential oil. Let it penetrate well and repeat the operation up to 6 times during the day.

The next day, the spot almost disappeared!

You can also add 2 drops of essential oil to each dose of shampoo, or in hair care oil.

Why? Not only is its fragrance pleasant, but this essential oil is an active anti-hair loss agent.

It is also used to keep lice away. Just massage a drop behind each ear, at the base of the hair, before going to school.

This procedure can be performed from the age of 3, without contraindication, except of course for allergy.

And finally, true lavender essential oil is also ideal for relaxing. Add a drop to a teaspoon of oil and you will get a relaxing massage oil.

You now know what I think are the 5 essential ingredients for natural skin care.

But maybe I forgot one that you think is essential, in which case share here the natural ingredient you can’t do without in the comments below.
